Executive Office Web Quest

Introduction

Understanding the role of the Executive Office in American government helps you to be more critical about current events and federal policies that affect American's lives. This WebQuest should teach you

  1. the basic responsibilities and duties of the Executive Office
  2. the relationship between the Executive, Legislative and Judicial Branches
  3. the roles of the President, Vice President and Cabinet
  4. the basic impeachment process

 

As you gain more knowledge about the role of the President in American government, you can speak as an informed citizen and make decisions about American foreign and domestic policies. After you complete this lesson, try watching for Presidential coverage on the news and see if the issues make more sense.
